Meet Allie
Allie is the owner and lead designer at Sassafras. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville and has been designing floral arrangements and events since 2009.
Allie is an artist, and flowers are her medium. Her education in composition, color theory and design is evident in every thoughtfully designed arrangement. She stays up to date with the latest techniques and trends in floral design and is always learning something new.
She loves her work and has assembled a brilliant team of designers who enjoy the aesthetics, challenge, and energy of floral design as much as she does. She and her husband, Jordan, have three beautiful children, Isabelle, Ivey Grace, and Foster, and live in Fountain City, north of Knoxville, Tennessee.
When Allie isn’t choosing the perfect stem, she’s running around with her kids, serving up chocolate milk, or walking her two boxers.
Meet Reagan
Reagan has been a part of the Sassafras team since 2010. She’s been Allie’s right hand girl and a fellow lead designer for many years.
After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, she started her own floral business, Wade Floral Company, in 2016. She loved the continued partnership with Sassafras throughout that time - still working in tandem with Allie for Sassafras weddings and events.
Reagan credits Allie for her skill and love of floral design. Since Allie and Reagan have worked together for over a decade, they work perfectly in sync with a complimentary design eye - a dream team!
Reagan and her husband, Clark, live in West Knoxville with their two kitties, Winston and Phyllis. When Reagan doesn’t have her hands in flowers, she’s spending time with family and friends, watching her favorite shows or trying to master sourdough baking.

We are always deepening our expertise, and we never work from templates that we’ve created during past jobs. Every event, every wedding, and every arrangement that we design is one-of-a-kind. Our design style and aesthetic is recognizable, with a large variety of blooms and high stem count. The work we do for you will be unlike anything you have ever seen. They will be the centerpieces, not the wallpaper.
Anything that goes out our door with the name Sassafras attached to it will be fresh, exciting, and remarkable.
